Retail chains, distributors, and flooring brands increasingly want SPC products sold under their own name rather than a manufacturer’s. The economics have shifted in their favor: digital printing has removed most of the tooling cost that once made custom flooring a container-scale commitment. The production timeline, step by step

What digital printing changed

Traditional flooring decor is gravure-printed from engraved cylinders. Each new pattern means new cylinders — real tooling cost that only amortizes at container volume, which is why private label historically demanded big commitments.

Digital printing removes the cylinders entirely. A new pattern is a file, not a tool.
